We all know that self care is a good thing, giving more to yourself increases health, happiness, enjoyment not to mention the extra vitality and energy you have to pour into your passions and to serve those you love.
But, all too often we’re busy. Stressed. There’s just too much going on in the day and we’re already short on time. We’re not as fine as we like to pretend we are. If we’re honest, we’re probably not spending as much time on ourselves as we need to.
In short, we’re neglecting self-care.
WHEN SELF-CARE SUFFERS
You’re sick more often.
Your quality of work suffers.
You feel overwhelmed.
You wake up tired, even after a full night of sleep.
You forget what you're about to say.

There are many reasons, for example, we prioritise others needs instead of our own, avoid doing things and end up not having time to do the things we want to do most. When we neglect Self Care and love for ourselves it can lead us to acting in ways that are not helpful for ourselves and others. Preventing us from reaching our goals and dreams in both personal and work life.

A Season of Self Care is the cumulation of my own journey and discovery of self love.
I spent my early adulthood more concerned to please others, loosing connection with myself, getting carried away on the hamster wheel of life, neglecting self care, comparing myself to others who seemed to have it all together, doing everything and more, feeling doubtful of my abilities and stuck because of the fear of what others may think of me. Realising that I was not the only one who felt like this I created A Season of Self Care.
I feel equipped to guide you on this journey as I turned things around for myself. If I can do it you can.
For the last 25 years, self development and growth have been a huge part of my life. My studies in psychology, yoga and Coaching qualifications accelerated my own deep inner growth and transformation. I came to the realisation that ......

I will gently guide you through a structured enjoyable process, with weekly content and connection, to make self care a happy part of your life. Connecting in a group, supporting each other to create and nourish a loving kind relationship with yourself.
I have brought together many really powerful aspects of self care and self growth that I use and have seen others integrate in their lives. It has the potential to change the way you see self care and your relationship with yourself.
This course is not talking about fluffy bubble baths etc (although I do love a good bubble soak) but truly impactful self care that talks self worth and love for yourself so it oozes out in every area of your life.
Self care means:
Taking care of yourself
Taking responsibility for your wellbeing
Getting to know who you are and what you need
Making choices that are inline with looking after yourself
Committing the time and energy is giving yourself what you need to be happy and healthy. Recommended time to allocate is 1-2 hours a week.
When we truly take care of ourselves and treat ourselves with that love and kindness, we blossom like a exquisite flower. Our passions and gifts want to bubble out in celebration. We find that we are more confident being ourselves and are not concerned what others may think or overly pleasing others to the detriment of ourselves.
LOVE is the key, infusing all with love brings a softness and openness to heal and grow.

21 Days on your Mat - This is a wonderful resource to help you get on your mat to build a daily movement practice. It involves 21 days of 10 -20 minute yoga practices.
Kindling your Inner Sparkle - Here we explore yoga and energetic practices, the theme being to top up our inner cup so we feel vibrant, both inside and out. We will move and stretch the body to feel alive and to balance this in restorative practices. We weave in different focuses in the classes; loving kindness, releasing obstacles, gratitude, breath, fluidity of the spine, and feel good flows as tools to keep our inner flame burning brightly. I do hope you will enjoy. There are over 16 hours of practices, gentle and Multilevel yoga, where the classes build on the previous weeks theme, although any of the classes can be done as stand alone classes too.

Stepping forward with who you are and what you believe in, not worrying about what others may think, or that you may not be deserving. Feeling great about who you are.

How long is the Season of Self Care course?
A Season of Self Care runs for 3 months Starting 1st May 2022. You will get access to all the resources via a private portal on my membership website, which will be released every week on Monday, in addition to the live ZOOM group coaching calls twice Monthy on the first and third Wednesday of the month 7-30pm UK time.
Once the 3 months are complete and all course content has been released, you will have access to the entire library of training materials inside the membership portal and you can revisit and review as often as you like. You will also keep your access to the private group so you can keep in touch with the people you have connected with during the course.
Im not sure what Self Care is, it is so alien to me I'm always looking after others needs...... During the course, early on, we will dive into what self care means for you. This is such a key concept and it is different for everyone. We will explore what floats your boat and begin to show yourself that you are listening to your needs to take real care of your self.
I have tried Self Care before and it has not worked, I didn't feel better. You can have thousands of bubble baths and still feel depleted, if bubble baths are not the best form of self care for you its not going to make you feel better? You have to do something that works for you, everyone is different.
I do not have the time for Self Care.... Make yourself a priority and dedicate about 1-2 hours per week to the course and your self care development. Self Care is like a muscle. The more you train it, the stronger it gets. It’s like going to the gym: you won’t see the effects after training only once or twice but you will notice considerable changes after training regularly for several months. This course is mapped out in a structured gentle way that will inspire you to commit to yourself; you will have fun and you will want to choose to do the nurturing things for yourself. It guides you with short weekly content which is easily fitted in.
Will I get any individual attention in this group program?
This is a group program, with extra accountability & support from like-minded souls in the group. I do love engaging on an individual level, so there will be plenty of opportunities for that to happen during this program. If you are wanting individual coaching we can discuss how that in addition to the course may work for you.
You will also have the chance to ask questions on every group coaching call which takes place twice monthly, on Wednesday evenings. The private group is also a great place to ask questions where I will be there and also other group members who will all support and encourage you as well.
I wish to take care of myself more but it feels selfish and I won't be able to be there for others if I take this time for myself?
Everyone gets it, self care is a good thing, giving more to yourself increases health, happiness, enjoyment not to mention the extra vitality and energy you have to pour into your passions and to serve those you love. BUT why don't we do it!!!!! We prioritise others needs instead of our own, avoid doing things and end up not having time to do the things we want to do most. Why do we choose to put down our own happiness and health for others? We will be diving into these areas.
ALSO To be able to commit to yourself and give yourself the love and care you need, it is important to have supportive environment around you and accountability. Optimising your environment will give you the best chance of success. Therefore to surround yourself with supportive people is essential, who are going to encourage, listen, be there for you and cheer you on. I will be there for you. We are all choosing to surround ourselves with others who are making this commitment to themselves.
This is where the course is super great as it provides you with this valuable support.
We will meet twice Monthy in ZOOM, facilitated by me in the group for 3 months. You will also be a member of a private group so you have extra support from me and the others and be able to communicate in positive ways to uplift each other to new levels.
In addition you each will have an accountability partner to meet with each week to share the weekly lesson and your insights. (which rotate every few weeks)
This group will form the support and accountability needed to inspire and motivate you.
How will I get the training materials? Will all calls be recorded?
This is an online course so everything will be popped into the private membership Portal for you Once you sign in, you’ll get a unique log-in to the site. The live ZOOM calls will be live. If you have questions and you won't be able to be on the live call please do send me the questions.
Do I need to do the program at certain times or can I access the materials anytime I want?
The video trainings will be released every week on Monday ( Beginning May 1st) and are available for you to watch in your own time. The live group coaching call is on a set date once every week Wednesdays 7-30pm for approximately 1 hour.
Will there be 1:1 coaching available if needed?

I have a degree in Psychology , MA and Post graduate Teaching qualifications. Plus, over 1000 hours of self development and yoga qualifications and 20+ years experience in practice.
I am a Love and Authenticity Practitioner/Coach, Somatic yoga teacher, Reiki 1 and 2 practitioner, Hypopressives facilitator, counsellor and Whole Healer specialising in Self Love, Overwhelm and Burnout. I have been interested in mind body practices for as long as I can remember. I also teach and co-ordinate Teacher Training programs with Heart of Living Yoga.
To gain a greater appreciation of life I have enjoyed additional training in meditation, gentle yoga and relaxation, yoga for ME, children’s yoga, therapeutic yoga, pre and post natal yoga, Somatic yoga and yoga for healthy lower backs.
